County Parent Education Programs
There are three approved
parent education programs offered in Hampshire County.
The PACT (Parents and
Children in Transition) workshops are for divorcing parents conducted at
the Hampshire Probate and Family Court, 33 King Street, Northampton.

The second program, Parents
and Children in Divorce, for divorcing parents conducts workshops at
Mary Lane Hospital, 85 South Street, Ware. Registration,
information about the program and scheduling may be made by contacting
Child and Family Services of Pioneer Valley at 1-800-232-0510.
New Program for Never Married
Parents
For the Children (FTC) is an educational program for Never Married Parents. This
educational program is required for all never married parents who have
filed a case involving visitation, custody or support of minor children
in Hampshire Probate & Family Court. Standing Order 2-05 makes
this program mandatory. The 3 hour workshop addresses: the
vital vole of parents in children's lives, cooperative parenting, and
understanding children's needs, and supporting children when parents
live apart. Program registration is through Rebecca Ryan at HCBA
